Customer Care Service at Bulk Bins

With our industry experience, we help our customers move their product faster, safer, and more cost-effectively. All of our customers are important to us. Our job does not end after a sale. From monitoring your shipment and online orders, our involvement is just the beginning. We are able to continue an on-going support and resources to implement your usable packaging system.

Freight Policy:

We work hard to get you the best freight rate available. Our sales representative will be able to find the best rate for you or your company. We will bill separately for freight according to the shipping method you require. Shipping Pre-Paid, Freight Collect or using your Account Number is an option and must be specified at the time of the order. All orders are inspected prior to shipment. To protect your interests, it is strongly suggested that you check items before accepting delivery.

Freight charges are extremely complicated, as freight rates are based upon the weight of the shipment, density of the goods, ease of handling, damage rate vs. cost of the goods, distance travelled and the volume of freight handled between origin and destination for the Freight Company, as well as the services required at the origin destination. In other words, there is no “one size fits all” for freight pricing. Bulk Bins Canada can provide a freight and shipping estimate as a courtesy to our customers. These estimates are based on information given to us at the time of inquiry, and are subject to change due to fuel surcharge, accessory charge, address change, redirected shipments, residential or commercial delivery address, or refused shipments. Bulk Bins Canada does not assume liability for any difference in freight estimate versus actual billed freight charges.

All prices in the Bulk Bins Canada site reflect Buyer’s net cost in Canadian currency. The prices do not include freight, applicable taxes, charges and duties, or special crating requirements for export shipment. Buyer shall pay all such costs, taxes, charges and duties. Prices, colors and specifications are subject to change without notice .


Please note any special shipping instructions in the comment area during checkout. If you have a preferred carrier or would like to use your own carrier account number for shipping, please provide this information in the comment section.


Good are not returnable. There are however situations where an exchange is necessary. We do not accept exchanges or returns without written permission from our company. A 25% handling charge shall be made on all goods returned or exchanged, as well as reconditioning charge if required, as determined by the company. Custom made products are non-returnable. All exchanges or returns must be in their original packaging. Claims for discrepancies in shipment must be made within 5 business days of receipt of merchandise or they will not be accepted. Altered or etched items will not be accepted. Please call 1-888-586-2668 for a Return Authorization number (exchanges or returns will not be accepted unless accompanied by this number), be sure to write your RA number on the shipping label. Buyer is responsible for all return or exchange freight charges to Bulk Bins Canada.

Damaged Shipments:

Buyer should thoroughly inspect all items for shipping damage before accepting delivery. If damage has occurred, Buyer should note the extent of the damage on the freight bill and call Bulk Bins Canada immediately at 1-888-586-2668 Monday-Friday 9:00am-5pm Eastern Time. Outside of business hours please use our “Contact Us” page. Photos of the damage are very helpful. If possible, please take photos of the damaged items and email them to Bulk Bins Canada responsibility for loss and damage ceases when the products are accepted for shipment by the carrier. Carriers and Bulk Bins Canada will not accept claims if damage is not noted at the time of delivery.


The freight company will expect the recipient to unload the products from the truck when it arrives at the delivery address. A loading dock, forklift, or a pallet jack may be required. If the recipient does not have a loading dock, or the equipment necessary to unload the order from the delivery vehicle it may be necessary to select a special delivery service in addition to standard shipping charges.

Special Delivery Services:

There are several special services offered by our freight partners that maybe necessary depending on the specifics of your delivery location. It is the customer’s responsibility to choose the proper delivery method special services during checkout. If the proper service level is not selected the order may become undeliverable or incur significant additional charges. Special delivery services offered by Bulk Bins Canada include: Lift-gate Service, and Limited Access Delivery. Special services are not mutually exclusive, and a combination of services may be necessary to insure proper delivery of your order.

Lift-gate Service:

A lift-gate is a motorized platform attached to the back of the truck that will physically lower your order to the ground. The truck driver will place your order on the ground, and you are responsible for bringing it inside. If you do not have a loading dock or a forklift, you will need a lift-gate and must select this option during checkout.

Limited Access Locations:

Certain locations including but not limited to: storage units, churches, synagogues, temples, schools, commercial establishments not open to the walk-in public during normal business hours, construction sites, fairs or carnivals, prisons, military base/installations, mine sites, rural route or out-of-town highway access locations, private residences, apartment complexes and dormitories, and businesses located at a private residence, farm or ranch that are not open to the walk-in public during normal business hours, may be considered “Limited Access”. If your delivery destination is considered limited access it requires additional coordination between the recipient and the freight company. There is a small additional fee for this service and is required to be properly selected from the shipping choices provided during checkout.

Undelivered Products:

If the product is undeliverable, Bulk Bins Canada will contact the buyer and attempt to resolve the issue prior to having the goods returned to our distribution center. If however the incorrect service level was selected during checkout Bulk Bins Canada cannot guarantee final delivery.
